So torn! I’ve been a phillies fan since I was a teenager. However I bleed pinstripes (being born & raised in NY). Hope you guys have a good trip!

Yo I’m making the trip to go see them, too! Brian, what section are the tickets for this trip? I’ll be on Grandstand between 3rd and left field.

Have this one marked on my calendar – but I actually think I’ll be in Philly that weekend. I’m a Temple grad but I’m from/live in CT.
What section? The tailgating sounds like a good time. Have fun dealing with Yankees fans …

If you plan to go to Yankee stadium, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT wear any Phillies paraphernalia whatsoever. This is not Citi feild nor the old Shea stadium. Mets fans might yell and taunt Phillies fans while at Citi Feild, but, this is Yankee town. They operate on their own rules. Believe me when I say If the Phillies are winning in the late innings and you are rooting against the Yankees, IT WILL GET VIOLENT. You have been warned. Take it for what it’s worth.

Thank you for the warning, I certainly take you at your word. But it also should be noted that Phillies fans are afraid of no one.

The tickets are scattered across the upper level. The Yankees did not sell group tickets for premium games like the Phillies.

Wish I could do that, but I’m a college student out here on the West Coast. Go Phillies.

Mets Fans thank you for your warning but this is Phillies Country. Like Brian Michael said, Philadelphians fear NO ONE.

i was there last year wearing my Phils hat, (they were playin’ the Jays), i had plenty of “Phillie’s Suck!” yelled at me, but that was all.
However, years ago, we were there when, i forget if it was Lieby or Abreu who hit a grand slam, when we got up to cheer someone threw something hard and heavy (was thinking battery) at me, hit me in the chest and left a bruise, so…

If any group of NY fans will start a fight that I have ever seen, its not the Yankees fans. The Yankees fans normally have the class. Been to the Old Yankees stadium, and they yell and taunt. Been to the “other” NY stadium, and thats where the fights are.

Hmmm – I’ve never had any issues with the Yankees fans being violent. I have been to a few of the phillies/yankees games in the past up there and always wore phillies stuff and it was never an issue. Even last year at the all star game, I had my Utley All star jersey on and my husband had his Jeter All star jersey – we got a lot of chuckles of people who were like “tough relationship” to which i replied “only if they meet in the world series”. I used to live up in NYC and go to TONS of yankees games (hubby had season tickets) and I never saw it get too rowdy – even at boston games…maybe we just sat in good sections…

Used to live in Jersey and went to a few games to see the Yankees play Boston. I wore my Sox gear and never had any problems. I think it would be worse if you wore Phillies gear to a Mets game. Wouldn’t worry about wearing Phillies to a Yankees game. Go Phillies!

Do not be scared of us yankee fans, we have class. Please remember when you phillies phans are done using the sink to urinate to at least run the water to rinse. This is not the vet. Also, please do not sit on our nice 1500 dollar seats, we dont want you getting jealous. And above all never take advise from a Mets fan.

I went up to the New “Grand” Yankee Stadium over the weekend. It looks like the Vet with a new coat of paint.
