Kyle Drabek and Yohan Flande will represent the Phillies in the Futures Game in St. Louis during the All Star Break.
Drabek, the Phillies first round pick in 2006, will represent team USA. In Class A Clearwater, Drabek struck out 74 batters in 61.2 innings. He was 4-1 with a 2.48 ERA before being promoted to Double-A. In four starts with Reading, Drabek is 3-0 with a 2.08 ERA. Drabek has rebounded nicely from 2007 Tommy John surgery.
Flande will represent the World team. Flande was never considered a high prospect, however he has been impressive this season with Clearwater. He is 6-1 with a 2.45 ERA and 1.17 WHIP.

Flande’s Dominican. Sounds quite similar to Bastardo, low-nineties fastball peaking in the mid-nineties with movement and a nice change-up apparently.

You can’t even add/subtract, can you Eli?
It’s 1.0 games behind, it’ll be 0.5 IF we lose, and we haven’t even played yet!

Eli quit trolling, and you complained when people made fun of your parents, saying you were and alright guy yada yada, well alright guys wouldn’t come here stirring up crap. There are other Mets fans who post here, but the difference is they don’t come here trash talking. All that it proves it that you’re not an alright guy, you’re just one of the Mets fans that fall into the Douchebag category.

Interesting news today from Jayson Stark, who claims that:
“The Phillies have given indications that they’d part with Michael Taylor and/or Jason Donald in a deal for a top starter.
However, they won’t listen on these players: Dominic Brown, Lou Marson, Kyle Drabek, Jason Knapp, Carlos Carrasco and Antonio Bastardo.”
I was hoping Taylor and Brown would be switched…

I am an alright guy. I just have issues that i’m still trying to come to terms with. I just now got used to finding out that my mother is actually my fathers biological sister. It helps that every time the Mets win me, my brother, and my father all blow each other while my mom videotapes it. Sometimes my mom and the family dog even join in on the fun. If the Mets lose I not only have to deal with that loss but I have to be the one to offer up my butthole to my father and brother so they can feel better by playing tag team on my butthole. You try dealing with all that and then tell me if you wouldn’t have problems.

Why are Marson and Bastardo untouchable but Michael Taylor is not?

Will the REAL Eli,please stand up! To the real Eli……SHUT THE F UP!!! I mean MY GOD you make legitimate Mets fans look stupid.Glad you don’t represent me as a Mets fan.I read your diatribes for the last year and you dig yourself forehead deep in a pile of SH8.Now tou the fake Eli,you are funny but you need to get out more.I mean two wrongs do not make a right. Now back to a statement I put through before, either way it was going to be a 3-2 game and glad Cy Johan did the job.Now Eli,lets try this……..Mets were 1 1/2 back and won today and gained 1/2 a game on the Phillies,NOW the Mets are 1 game back…….Simple math.
