Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard and San Diego Padres first baseman Adrian Gonzalez have been named National League Co-Players of the Week for the last week in May.

Howard and Gonzalez tied for the National League league in home runs (4), runs batted in (10), and slugging percentage (1.000) last week.

This is the fourth time Howard has won the award and the first since September of 2007.

Gonzalez is better than howard, 21 homeruns playing in that park with a losing team, no one to hit behind him. When he becomes a free agent what will he get if texira got 20?
