I went to high school with this guy. Total POS! And this is exactly the thing he would do. He’ll spend more effort on this than actually working. I don’t like Manny, but I like Robert (“Bert”) Eaton even less. O ya , and Bert did steroids a few years back. He didn’t work out while on em and got Fat. His two kids are baggage from his wife who is a retired stripper.

ST. PETERSBURG – A New Port Richey man says he was assaulted by a Philadelphia Phillies player following Thursday’s game against the Rays.

Robert Eaton, a 25-year-old father of two, said Phillies pitcher J.C. Romero grabbed him by the neck and pushed him after he made a comment about steroids.

ST. PETERSBURG – A New Port Richey man says he was assaulted by a Philadelphia Phillies player following Thursday’s game against the Rays.

Robert Eaton, a 25-year-old father of two, said Phillies pitcher J.C. Romero grabbed him by the neck and pushed him after he made a comment about steroids.

Officials for both teams confirmed they knew of an incident, but neither identified the player Saturday afternoon. A St. Petersburg Police dispatcher confirmed that a report for a battery call was taken at the stadium at about 11 p.m. Thursday.

“We’re disappointed to learn about the alleged incident with a Rays fan and one of our players following Thursday night’s game at Tropicana Field,” the Philadelphia Phillies said in a statement.

Rays fans, like Nats fans, are often times way too immature for the stands. It’s one thing for a Phils fan and Mets fan to go at it, but the folks with no history of baseball or fan traditions need to chill out sometimes. I feel like they try way to hard to be aggressive based on what they see other fans doing. The vitriol needs to be organic.
