Maybe I would emphasize more the lack of hitting, especially in crucial situations. The collapse of the bullpen seemed inevitable - the pen that was absolutely perfect last year. The offense being sporadic and mostly anemic with runners in scoring position without Raul has really done this team in. And July 3rd is right around the corner - Friday night, Muts in town for the weekend and the start of a 10 game homestand. I'm excited! Nice analysis – I could not agree more.
