I’d love to see Chooch get voted in. I’ve been so happy to watch him really come into his own this season. Good for him.

As for Rollins, I’d kind of like to see him not make the All Star team this year in hopes it will light a fire under him and he takes off in the second half.

Rollins appears to be coming around getting contact and resulting in 2 hits yesterday. As the astute Joe Morgan, hall of famer and broadcaster for ESPN, indicated, Rollins needs to be consistent in his approach to his at bats. He analysed Rollins’ swings using side by side video images where he noted Rollins’ shoulder dropped and getting under the ball resulting in a popup. In the other swing, his shoulders were leveled and on top of the ball resulting in a groundball hit. Good stuff.

I agree with Rollins this year, but how many years has he had better numbers then a lot of SS they got voted in and he was sitting at home?

Rollins is starting to stir, he said after a film session Saturday, they figured out his swing was to flat and he was getting under the ball, so hopefully he will start coming around. If he gets rolling, they could run away with the division..

chooch is now in 5th place, a little under 275000 away from molina, there is still hope! pedro seems to be lost, hes in 4th place, almost 500000 votes behind david wright. and youd be hard pressed to argue if david wright shouldnt start. pedro and chooch would probably get manager selections though

Rollins and Ibanez just moved into first place for their respective positions!
THat gives the phillies 3 starters (Utley) should the all star game be played today.

i still feel rollins does not deserve to start. sure hes solid defensivley but hes been an automatic out for most of the season
