I think the big problem at the end of this game was having Bako in there and not Ruiz! Lidge will give up walks and give up hits, but Ruiz specializes in cleaning up a lot of the shit Lidge throws.

yeah grumpy- baseball people always have these pseudo scientific explanations of such phenomeon…something is rotten in denmark however, i just want to know what it is…I wonder, and they say its the same dimensions as old yankees stadium, if an outside party has actually measured the fences…maybe mlb has some type of architectural overseer that checks this stuff….maybe they pulled a nasa mars lander and forgot to convert units.

still trying to use the “little league field” excuse huh? LOL. Like I said you dont like FACTS. Fact#1, Phillies hit MORE homers away from home. Fact #2, the Phillies won the World Series without home field advantage. Fact #3, Phillies look like crap at home fact #4, the “little leagues field” is an advantage to both team playing, not just the Phillies. DUH.

brian of CO – also, i’ve never seen a broken bat homerun at CBP, i did see Texeira hit one against us in the new yankee stadium. Wasn’t there 7 hrs hit in one of those games we played there. It’s the Bizarro yankee stadium….or an X-File, like to see if there some kind of scientific explaination
