I absolutely love the Iphone and that app. too bad i am in the “local” area 3 hours away or i would be able to watch the live feeds as well when they have them for the phills. My opion of the best app on the market today.

I think the best answer to Jimmy Rollins’ problems is to fire the hitting coach. Charlie Manuel has said Rollins’ swing is longer than usual. Why isn’t this being addressed by the hitting coach? Hasn’t he noticed? If the swing is too long, it should have been corrected by now. Or maybe Jimmy is just uncoachable.

Also, why hasn’t the hitting coach done something about the general impatience of other Phils’ batters?

This has been an ongoing problem, and if it hasn’t been properly addressed after so many seasons, then the coach should be sent packing.

I’m with you on the MLB at bat app. I live in CA now so there’s virtually no Phillies coverage of any kind out here. At Bat is my life line at the moment.

The only thing I can think of to help J-Roll is to start bunting for base hits. We all know that when he gets on base on a consistant basis, the Phillies win. He’s trying to do too much and looks like a little leaguer out there this year. He needs to start laying down the bunts. Not only will it get him on base from time to time, but the opposing defense will now have to be looking for it and play shallow. As long as he keeps the ball on the ground, he will get his share of hits. See Hayes, Willy Mays.

We definitely should be seeing way better from our “Ace”, Hamels. Happ is doing great though and in my mind he’s the new ace of the team. This team needs to seriously get our crap in gear.
