I thought he might be successful in that “Dan Plesac, pitch to ONE lefty and leave” role. Not here, I guess. As bad as our bullpen has been, it’s pretty amazing to think their cutting loose any relievers.

Yeah itd be nice to stash an experienced guy like that in AAA juuuuust n case they need another arm down the stretch. I mean last year they gave Les Walrond and that guy with the 52mph curve significant time for a stretch last year…

Taschner is a classy professional. The guy just had a kid the day before he got traded here and they just got settled and now he may get moved again. I hope he lands on a team like the Pirates or Nats and exceeds with more playing time.

We do not need Wang, let the Rangers take him. We need Greike(sp?) or Haren.

Regarding Taschner, I would LOVE the Nationals to get him. I think he would fit in well there because they are really hurting for pitching and he could learn with the others. He also won’t have the pressure…

Just my opinion. I liked him on the Pen and I hope he gets a contract and plays ball. I also hope he does well.

Was pulling for him after seeing him hold on The Pen ans watching his new baby throw up on him and his couch. Seemed liked a cool guy. Just wasnt a very good pitcher.
