SI are saying the only thing holding up the big deal is Drabek. You have to include him. I did not want to but to get Halliday is a once in a lifetime thing. It would make us the favs this year. If somehow we could keep Happ and give Drabek, Taylor who wont play for a while, Carrasco. Make it. Hamels, Halliday, Happ, Blanton, Martinez. WOW..

Why do want to be “favorites” though? Is there an added bonus for that? You earn respect with results, not only now but in the future. There’s nothing worse to short-term favoritism in this media-driven age.

Is the “tailgate” in NY? I’ve lived in this sorry ass city for the last two years, but born and raised in Philly for the previous 53 years. Already have tickets for the game and would love to party with my fellow Philly compadres before the ass kicking begins. Let me know so I can sign up for the Party.

Yes, the tailgate will be near Citi Field. The more the merrier.

Please… we aren’t going to get Halladay because our Front Office is to stupid enough to pull that trigger…
and i don’t think we are going to win the World Series because of our lack of pitching…

Just signed up. Will the tickets be mailed to us, or do we show I’d at the parking lot and get everything there? Just want to know if I should be checking the mail . . .

How do we get our tickets for the game/tailgate party if we ordered online? Should we just bring the print out to the game?

Yay just signed up for the tailgate (already have tickets for the game). Can’t wait to meet some fellow PN peoples. Debating between driving into Queens, or taking the 7 train from Manhattan…any idea where the tailgate is actually happening near/at Citi Field??

I also have tickets and would like to party/tailgate with fellow PN people. Any info on time and place of tailgate would be helpful. Reply to my e-mail, see you at the game.

If you already have tickets, you can still get in on the tailgate party at: http://shop.phillytailgate.com/product_p/phillies-mets-tailgate.html.
If you need tickets and tailgate, you can purchase it at: http://shop.phillytailgate.com/product_p/phillies-mets-tixtailgate.html.
Due to strict tailgating rules at CitiField we had to reserve a private lot. There is NO PARKING available at the private lot we have reserved. You’re best bet is park at CitiField then walk to the tailgate spot (about 1 mi). The tailgate will be from 3-6. At 615 we will stage a parade to CitiField lead by South Philly String Band.
The tailgate will take place at:
New York City Boys Club
133-01 41st Ave
Queens, NY 11355
Email with any questions.
