Citi Field Trip
For everyone who reserved their spot for our second sponsored bus trip of this season to Citi Field, you’re in luck. Prior to the game, members of the Mets first World Series championship will being honored during an on field pre-game ceremony. If having the opportunity of seeing Jeltzian shortstop Bud Harrelson didn’t entice you to join us tomorrow then maybe being one of 25,000 fans to sports this fine t-shirt will make you reconsider. You probably should because you paid for it!
The Mets blogosphere has been buzzing since we announced this trip earlier in the year. SNY.tv talked with our own Pat Gallen earlier today, previewing the Phillies/Mets series. MetsBlog quipped with disdain that Phillies fans will be in attendance during the celebration, Subway Squawkers spread lies that Tug McGraw was a better Met, Brian was interviewed over at The ‘Ropolitans, and then there is this guy…
I personally am looking forward to seeing all of our usual trip participants and the fresh blood, too. Without you guys we would all be sitting on our asses watching from home. So, thank you again for continuing to make Phillies Nation great. You guys are truly the WFCs!

For all of those guys who were trying to convince me that getting Wagner would be a good idea, look at what his response was. And I quote “(Bleep) no.”

Billy Wagner is a piece of garbage. The amazing thing is, none of the fans disliked him until after he left. As for the team…who is on the team that was still on the team when Wagner was here? Utley, Howard, Rollins, Madson and Victorino. That’s about it.
I am all for letting him rot in NY or with whoever claimed him but I just don’t get why he wouldn’t want to come back. Clearly he doesn’t care about winning.

Apparently John not only lacks general grammar abilities, but scored a negative on the Math section of his SAT’s. 8 TD’s is 51 points? It looks like with the safety you missed 7 PAT’s.

That Wright injury was such a bummer, he had a legitimate shot at double digit homers this year. To have such a lofty goal get derailed is just terrible.
