Last night the Nation descended upon Ventnor Sports Cafe in Adams Morgan, DC. Both floors were packed with rowdy Phillies fans and Scott the owner had pretzels shipped down from Philly. A lone Yankees fan was there to witness the mayhem and he was the only one with a camera, so hat tip to Corey.

Phillies fan, as a Yankees fan I’ll be the first to congratulate you on your game 1 victory, i admit it was HUGE. Cliff lee is unbelievable and I do not want to face that guy, getting him for 70 cents on the dollar and him basically being Roy Halladay is probably the best thing that ever happened for you guys. I do expect CC to actually bring better stuff in terms of his slider, changeup, velocity, and command next outing. Here’s to what should be an exciting game 2. Now stop whining about not getting respect, you just got some!
