I give Cole the ball but on a tight leash. I have to go with what Joe Kerrigan said the other day. Hamels is solid for 50-60 pitches and that’s it. These numbers will shock you, but they are right to the point:

Hamels 2009
1st inning .228 (32 games)
2nd inning .238 (32 games)
3rd inning .258 (32 games)

Alright Bowa is really pushing it…first with the sign stealing crap and talking about how Pedro does pitch in the cold …something about skipping starts in Denver….Didn’t Pedro play in MONTREAL, the wonderful trropical climate of Boston. I just cannot see the Yankees losing tonight. Trust me, I want to believe. I want to believe that this team that we have loved for so long and watched since march will pull it off but this is the Yankees. Once again, look at the payroll………that may not mean everything but Arod’s salary is about the same as the entire pirates salaries. it is just not balanced which will lead to inequality. Yes, the yankees fans and bandwagoners will just call us whiners but I think there is a geenral consensus that there needs to be some cap.

Joedad – Apparently though the Phillies teams in the ’90′s didn’t get along we’ll with West. Don’t think it’s an issue now, but could be at home…Doubt that to but all it could take is a handful of hecklers recalling the 90′s years… I’m sure St. Pedro knows his umps as does Petite. I can’t help think that Pedro’s due…I mean sporting that Jheri-Curl, Yankees stadium, Ut on the verge of “you know undoing that thing done by that other guy” Can’t say it out loud …Baseball Gods and alll. But don’t you think Petite is nervous about being the guy how throws the pitch to Ut that you know breaks something and in their house.
