Should have signed him for as little as possible and then tried to swing a deal for him to at least get something for him if he would not have had a no-trade clause in his contract.

I agree with figtinphils. I don’t dislike him, but let’s face it, he’s a headcase. I don’t think he exhibits the same kind of hig character as the rest of this team. Plus, he’s never panned out to be all that great.

Hmm…it was teh Phillies letting him walk not vice versa. He wanted to stay. I woudl have tried to get a cheap deal and bring him back. They had better go get another starting pitcher.

Myers made 12 million this season. I doubt he would have came back for anything less. He is only going to get worse and for that kind of money that would be a mistake
