I do not know where to post this so I am putting it here. I am planning my vacation around the Phillies west coast swing in May. I know you can not get any tickets yet, but I am going to AZ for the Sunday game, and SF for the Tuesday game, it would be cool if any of you will be there to get tickets in the same section. It was great to see Pedro perform his magic that day. I hope he comes back to the Phils for one more encore.

This was big because this was at the epicenter of the ESPN/SF Giants love-fest. They were all over Lincecum and Cain’s junk… after Happ loses to Brad Penny in game 2, the series seemed all but over but the goat came through in a big way. I remember that there was speculation that Lee would pitch on short rest (setting up the Lee/Lincecum matchup) but he did not (thankfully, he gave up 6 ER the following day). We win this game and the series… the Giants lose 5 series’ in September and fail to earn a playoff berth… in retrospect, the importance of this game is that it killed any momentum that the the Giants thought they had.
