Phillies broadcaster Chris Wheeler joined The Sports Bash with Mike Gill on 97.3 ESPN FM live from Clearwater to talk about how the team looks thus far.
Wheels also touched on a bevy of topics including Roy Halladay, Domonic Brown, and some fine watering holes and restaurants in the Clearwater area. He says Brown could be very special as a part of this team down the line, and it’s hard to disagree. The guy has been impossible to stop early on in Spring Training.

Id rather be put in guantanamo for 2 years then listen to this. Its bad enough somehow he keeps his job. Which is a disgrace. Did we find out who he has naked pictures of yet? But you want me to choose to listen to him outside of the torture that is the phillies broadcasts?

I may not like Wheels much, but I can still tolerate him when I need to.
Gonna listen to this just to hear what he has to say, no matter how invalid his opinions may be.

For as many Wheeler haters as they’re are on this site….it’s amazing that you even are advertising this.
However, if I can pick up the signal I will listen….I happen to like Wheels…(yeah, I know, I’m one of about 5 total in the entire Delaware Valley).

Who the F-cares what that pathetic POS wheels says. He is the most annoying, arrogant, no nothing broadcaster on the planet. If you really listen to what he says, it will drive you crazy. No will care when he dies – no one. No ceremonies, no patches, no signs – nothing.

Wheeler is still a Phillies broadcaster and brings pertinent information to the table when it comes to Spring Training…so that’s why It’s up.
