being the eternal optimist, I know it is ST and all, but should we be worried at all about the lack of hitting? And then I remember how hot JRoll was last year at this time, especially in the WBC and look where that got him last year.
And outside of Roy, the pitchers did pretty well, just look like Roy had a little control problem. But Contreous (sp) pitched pretty well as did Durbin, and the role five kid look pretty strong, the problem is I am not sure there is room for him, being rule 5 and all he has to make the big club right off the bat, and stay up all year, if I read rule 5 correctly. Another game today hope the bats find the ball.
I can pull a positive out of the game is there was not many K’s for the Phillies I think only 3.

Another weak offensive show by the Phightins today, losing to the Tigers 3-0. Roy Halladay had his worst performance of Spring Training but did manage to get one of the Phils six hits. We really need Placido Polanco back in the lineup. We have not scored in at least 18 innings. Who says we don’t need Spring Training?
