Blanton gave up 3 runs, 5 hits in 2 innings. Joe started this way last year, they all did. The relief looked stupendous, again - names worth mentioning, Baez (today), even Zagurski, Herndon and Chavez looked decent today. Bastardo looked sharp yesterday, along with Kendrick, Contreras and Carptenter the day before. Between these 8 pitchers, 13 IP, 14 K's, 8 hits and only 1 walk and 0 runs.
