The relief looked stupendous, again - names worth mentioning, Baez (today), even Zagurski, Herndon and Chavez looked decent today. Bastardo looked sharp yesterday, along with Kendrick, Contreras and Carptenter the day before. Between these 8 pitchers, 13 IP, 14 K's, 8 hits and only 1 walk and 0 runs.

The game ended at a 3-3 tie today(10 innings). My prayers have been answered!Didn't see the game, but sounds like Hamels was using a few cutters effectively against left-handers.If that pitch helps him get lefties, watch out. He could have a huge season.

Hamels throwing a cutter.
