Even the announcers were like, "Uh, yeah, that would make hitting hard." So maybe that has something to do with his declining numbers....or it may be nothing too, just something to keep your eye on.

Re: Corey Hart, I was watching a preseason game on MLB network yesterday when they mentioned Corey Hart was getting glasses because he couldn’t see enough to identify the spin of the ball and thus the pitch as it left the pitcher’s hands. He was great down the stretch. Gamel is to proned to strike out and is a disaster in the field. They have a mediorce rotation of Gallardo, Wofl, Davis,Parra and Suppan. They all have a flaw and are injury prone. Their strength is their bats. They can slug with anyone. I think they finish 2nd or 3rd and not make the playoffs.

The center piece of the trade for CC was Matt Laporta going to Cleveland all Brew town was CC of 4 months and a wildcard birth from that. He did a great job for us while he was here, and was a HUGE part of the Dodgers success last year.He should be a great asset to the Brewers, assuming he doesn't end up missing significant time to injury.

I really like the Randy Wolf signing, and he was a guy I had hoped the Phillies would make a move for to help bolster the middle of the rotation. A whole lot depends on aging lefties Wolf and Davis. They could possibly surprise us and win the division, but it indeed would be a surprise.

Very good analysis.
