The Band is back, as @Jwerthsbeard put it on twitter. The full lineup that started the year, that was supposed to stay healthy and tear the NL a new one, is finally in order. Only eight times this season has this lineup card seen the light of day.
I know many of you are still pissed off about last night, and rightfully so. Things could have gone differently. However, the Phillies need to put that in their rear view and win these next three games. Anything less than 3-out-of-4 here would be a loss. Will the tides change?
They need to hope they do change, because Cole Hamels is on the mound tonight. We all know what that means – the offense doesn’t score for him. In fact, it’s been three whole games since they’ve given Cole a run in a start. My prediction: they unload on Bud Norris tonight for at least 9 runs. Anything less would be uncivilized!

The Phils need to give the Stros a shiner tonight after last night’s wicked defeat. Shiner Bock is a Texas-brewed beverage made by the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas. If Howard doesn’t get ejected, it would have been a different ball game. Ibanez wouldn’t drop the ball at first base, it would of been a 1-run game, and Utley wouldn’t get the intentional walk. Thanks a lot Howard

Ryan Howard is swinging at crap. Don’t give me this stuff about him just coming off the DL and trying to find his swing. Actually, he’s been doing that for most of the year. We are in the last couple of weeks of August. This team has to start hitting and giving their pitchers support. The Phillies just can’t seem to win when the Braves lose and they are letting winnable games slip away from them. It’s like every pitcher these so-so teams throw against the Phillies look like Cy Young winners. We got rid of Milt Thompson so what’s his replacement being doing?

We skedaddled right after the last out, didn’t want to get caught in any possible rioting and/or violence against the ump crew. Not that I wouldn’t have liked to bang their damn heads together.
First that blown call at first base last night and now two checked-swing strikes in the same AB. These guys need to be disciplined and/or dismissed from their duties, because they obviously have no idea what they’re doing.
