Two games for the price of one today! Gotta love the infrequent doubleheader. Today, fortunately, were given one on Labor Day. An excellent time to drink a good beer, cook on the BBQ, and listen to the sounds of Franzke and LA on the transistor. That’s all you need. End summer well, my friends. This is also a perfect time to grab a hold of the NL East. Two wins today could make that happen. Whaddya say, Phils?
Also, as a bit of a side note, let’s hope Vance Worley can put together a solid performance and make us forget about Kyle Kendrick’s struggles. HAPPY LABOR DAY PHILLIES NATION!

There is 14 games coming before the braves series.
Phils will be up a minimum of 2 by then.
St louis is gonna hand them some ass in their 4 game series.
Go look at Atlanta the last 10 or so games. The Mets laid down for 3 wins and nunez handed them another or it would be really brutal.

Just gotta keep advancing. Half game here, half game there…..slow, steady progress.
Hopefully, the Phils can win the next 2….get a day off to re-group…and then come out strong and just win 2 of 3 of the remaining series.
That would give us 16 more wins for a total of 95. Not too shabby…and I think that would take the division.
One game at a time should be the team’s daily mantra.
