Two games for the price of one today! Gotta love the infrequent doubleheader. Today, fortunately, were given one on Labor Day. An excellent time to drink a good beer, cook on the BBQ, and listen to the sounds of Franzke and LA on the transistor. That’s all you need. End summer well, my friends. This is also a perfect time to grab a hold of the NL East. Two wins today could make that happen. Whaddya say, Phils?
Also, as a bit of a side note, let’s hope Vance Worley can put together a solid performance and make us forget about Kyle Kendrick’s struggles. HAPPY LABOR DAY PHILLIES NATION!

Yes some buyers. Shuold know soon. Slots no. Not on site. They already have other locations in md though. Slot revenue for racing purses is done. We are trying to get a card room. The Md politicians suck though. Chester and charlestown and Delaware all now have card rooms. without one cant compete.

Mike the guy today was a righty. who was 30 . who had 27 wins in 8 years. 27-35. .403 career winning pct in the minors

Oswalt’s going to break even by the end of the season if he keeps up this great pace, maybe even over .500. He did get hit, but kept it under control. That’s what makes him an ace.
Lidge is great.
The offense needs to take more walks.
I think we’re going into the home series against the Braves tied for first.
