Your gameday beer: Yards Love Stout

Anything from Yards is a friend of mine. They just make damn good beers. My favorite is Yards ESA, but this Love Stout is intriguing. It’s a very dark beer with a dark head that has a chocolate and coffee aroma. For you java lovers, this could be gold.-Pat Gallen

With the injury to Chase Utley, I am interested to see Jimmy Rollins in the number 3 spot. I know he has struggled there before, but with all of the left handed bats in the Phillies lineup, Rollins could be a big help to balance it out in the 3 or 5 spot.

If I had to bat someone else third it would probably be Polanco, except he’s so good as a #2 hitter.

I’d bat Raul 3rd (and I’m sure Cholly would too, especially against RHP).
Check his #s batting third, both career-wise and with the Phils. He’s good there.

What about Polanco 5th? I know he isn’t a prototypical 5 hitter but he is right handed, hits for average, and always puts the bat on the ball.

Someone kick me in the ass hard if Cholly moves Jimmy – no effin way! Just aint happening.
Cholly and Chase both dont sound very positive. This could be a long season for Mr. Utley.

Et tu, Carobine? That stinking symbol is annoying.
