Philadelphia Phillies (34-21) at Pittsburgh Pirates (26-29)

Cole Hamels (7-2, 3.01 ERA) vs. Jeff Karstens (3-4, 3.58 ERA)

Things didn’t end so well in Washington D.C. and it’s been kind of an up and down day today.
Yes, the Phillies are back to being a healthy squad once again. Their full lineup is together for the first time this season, now that Shane Victorino is back in the fold. The bad news is, John Mayberry was sent down to Lehigh Valley.
Many are up in arms about this move, but lets’ look at the positives. This is the lineup we were supposed to see. Keeping it in perspective, Mayberry was really the 25th guy. Lets just hope it doesn’t bite them in the ass when they are looking for right handed power late in the game.
Bold prediction: Complete Game shutout for Hamels tonight. Not sure why.
And look for the Phillies Nation crew scattered all over beautiful PNC Park. Like 4/9 of them are there.
PHILLIES LINEUP:
Rollins SS, Polanco 3B, Utley 2B, Howard 1B, Victorino CF, Ibanez LF, Brown RF, Ruiz C, Hamels P

Just do me a favor, if you actually go out and find this stuff, bring a towel, a few hundred dollars, have a taxi cab service ready to pick you up, and bring your weapon at home. This stuff is brutal. But hey, some people like that sort of thing. And this isn’t even a Pittsburgh-based brew. It’s actually made in Cali. Fooled ya. – By Pat

Does a no hitter vs the Pirates count as major league?

@Andrew: hey, we’re working on something more significant than a no-hitter. But I won’t jinx it by using the “p” word.
Hamels still has only 31 pitches.
