2011 Gameday, Analysis, News, Posts
Arizona Diamondbacks (69-54) at Philadelphia Phillies (79-42)
Ian Kennedy, (15-3, 3.12) vs. Vance Worley (8-1, 2.85)
Time: 7:05, Citizens Bank Park
TV: CSN
Weather: Poss. T-Storms, 78

Don’t worry about Ryan Howard and Carlos Ruiz – they’re both out of the lineup tonight, but both are said to be OK. Ruiz has a (GULP!) bruised testicle, but gave the thumbs up when asked how he feels.
Ryan Howard has a hand sprain that is minor, so he’s out of the lineup. Ross Gload starts, but Howard will be available for pinch-hitting duties.
Shane Victorino gets a game shaved off of his suspension for the brawl in San Francisco. Well, thats good news. Shane gets a few days to rest, John Mayberry gets a few days in the lineup. Everyone wins!
Lineup: Rollins SS, Mayberry CF, Utley 2B, Pence RF, Ibanez LF, Gload 1B, Schneider C, Valdez 3B, Worley P
Your Gameday Beer – Orval Trappist Ale
I’ve said it before, monks know how to brew beers and this Belgian Pale Ale is no exception. First it hits you with a apple/pear scent then a complex taste of citrus, caramel, and earthy yeast – all in a creamy buttery consistency. Wow. I hear it goes well with Thai food, but this is certainly one you can drink alone. – By Brian

Let My People Play! So let it be written, so let it be done.
What does the guy have to do to play LF? Put on a Raul Ibanez costume?

Wow… I didn’t think they were going to get this game official. I was at the ballpark up until the rain delay, waited it out for about an hour, got home before the game had resumed. But here we are, playing again!

True, a fare share of trolls to boot.
But seriously, I am pretty sure that when the posts are significantly ‘Waldorf’ in design, there are a lot of fans that just wont tolerate his nonsense. I know he has been a heavy contributor and frequently quite engaging but too infrequent. You know he personally has been responsible for a drop in postings, people just dont need to deal with his childlike attitude.

See I dont even come on the site for 2 days and you guys are mentioning me.
To be honest I dont read most of the stuff here etc etc.
I post for me.
But hey blame me when you post about me. I used to be bice to alot of people but I got tired of people like you calling people names for ctiticizing the team or players.
So I just give what I recieve and will continue on treating people as they treat me.
But if blaming me makes you feel better. One could say I used to be a big reason the threads were good. But they no longer interest me. So they sit like this.
IMO boring people like you killed things. Not me.

What about the effectivness of Stutes lately? OK, the ineffectiveness is more like it.
Worley and Stutes were the main topic at the water cooler. Has this passed? He’s not been pummled but he does not seem as effective as early on.
