Talks of Edwin Jackson on a one-year deal to the Nationals … $10 M
While a lot of people have been all too eager to name the Nats the next Beast of the East team .. i’m not there yet, I need to see growth, or at least consistancy from Morse, Desmond, and Espinosa … Harper is a little ways away .. so i’m not sure Jackon for one year means much, except that they’ll be a little tougher THIS YEAR … I still don’t think they can challange the Phillies yet in terms of a full-season .. though they finished at 80-81 last year, we can call the Nationals a .500-team I don’t see them going much beyond 85-wins this season (which ain’t too shabby), I just don’t see them as a playoff team right now
