Joe Blanton led the Phillies to a 5-2 victory on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Carlos Ruiz had a big night, going 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 runs batted in. The Phillies hope to keep the momentum a they are looking to get back to the .500 mark today.

Kyle Kendrick will try to rebound from his awful start in Arizona. While filling in for the injured Cliff Lee, Kendrick surrendered seven runs in just three innings. The Cubs do not have much exposure to Kendrick, so hopefully that will turn out in favor of Kendrick. After his last start, it will be interesting to see how long of a leash Charlie Manuel will have for Kendrick if he struggles again.

The Cubs will send out their best starter, Matt Garza. Garza has the stuff to tally up on strikeouts, as his go-to strikeout pitch is his changeup. Garza can get wild at times, however.

Lineup: Rollins SS, Pierre LF, Pence RF, Wigginton 3B, Victorino CF, Nix 1B, Schneider C, Galvis 2B, Kendrick P.

Your gameday beer: We’re going north to Lion Brewery for a real treat: Pocono Lager. Much like Yuengling, its strong, caramel and malt flavor makes for a nice standard lager. You can almost picture being up in the mountains while sipping this one, which I’d suggest with a juicy roast beef and horseradish sandwich. — By Tim
