The Shane Victorino-to-Los-Angeles trade is reportedly very close. It’s so close that Domonic Brown as been scratched from the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs lineup ahead of the noon start today. That information comes from Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

We’ll have more as soon as it becomes available.

At this point, it seems the Victorino deal is done and Brown is coming up. At this point, he has to play every day, every inning, against every pitcher. There’s nothing to lose, it’s time to see what he’s got.

It figures the day I am working the 1st base camera hoping for a nice up close look again and he’s scratched.

Nooooooooo (if all we’re getting is Lindblom).

Happy about Dom, but RAJ seems desperate.

Very happy getting rid of the Cryin Hawwiin.. He served his purpose. I do not like his makeup. He his horrible on the basepaths. Not hitting right now. Was a good option for us but will want the money. Atleast we get back a proven relief pitcher. Something. Brown hopefully will grow into what we all expected. It was so exciting when Brown first came up and hit a few nice shots. he is young and we need him to be the guy. young….get some new blood into this team. with doc, hamels, and maybe lee. with some young talent.
