Aaron Cook looks to continue his strong Spring (3.21 ERA) and make his case for a spot on the Phillies roster as he and the Phils lock up with the Orioles in a rematch of the 1983 World Series.

But the big story today is not Cook’s quest to make the Phillies – instead it is that of Roy Halladay, who labored through 4 innings in a Minor League game, throwing 81 pitches and giving up 2 ER, while topping out at 90 MPH on the radar gun and settling in between 86-89 MPH. Keep it here for any updates on Halladay and the latest roster news.

Line-Up

1. Revere – CF

2. Rollins – SS

3. Utley – 2B

4. Howard – 1B

5. Young – 3B

6. Brown – RF

7. Mayberry  – LF

8. Lerud – C

9. Cook – P

Go Phillies!

Aumont goes an inning plus, fairly wild today, but at least he was keeping the ball down. Liuke so many young guys, consistency is a challenge for him at times. But he can look brilliant, too which puts him above a lot of guys. He’s kind of a Jake with better command. Good stuff.
