Our own Corey Seidman spoke with Spike Eskin on 94.1 WIP earlier today about Phillies Nation TV, statistical analysis in baseball, Roy Halladay and some Phillies over/under prognostications. Have a listen!

    The one topic that I really paid attention to was the Jimmy leadoff I think it was 100 games, over/under.

    I won’t speak to the over under of it, but in putting my aenses for the year together earlier this week, I sense the leadoff position is not going to shake out quite like people expect.

    However he works it, and Corey’s expectation was the under, because he thinks Charlie will see the team is a better club with Ben leading off, I believe most people think Charlie is flipping and experimenting toward an ultimate “permananent” leadoff guy.

    What I think there’s a good chance we see is some sort of rotation between the two. Based on certain type matchups and the like, he might flip them to where one leads off say13 times a month, the other 9 (random numbers)..

    I’m guessing what Charlie’s going to do, not formulating an opinion on what’s best for the club.
