I will always love Charlie for residing over the best 5 year stretch in Phillies history but, as sad as it is, he is no longer the manager this team needs. I wonder if it would really matter who the manager is though. If the talents not there its not there.

I could be wrong, but did any Phillies batter have a single walk this series?! Has that ever happened, if it is true? If so, then that is not good…at all. (heavy, heavy sigh)

Charlie and Ruben dont like taking walks.

tts almsot impossible to do that.

But you arent going to intentionaly walk any of them.

It is pathetic at this point.

If I was given the Phillies tomorrow before I fired Charlie Ruben would be gone.

that really needs to be step 1.

I see no long term hope until that happens.

Lannan is hurt (knee). He’s seeing the team doctor tomorrow.

0 walks in their last 30 innings.

Thanks, Rudy! I was hoping I was wrong. I have no ideas on how to get these guys going again. I mean we do have two hitting coaches…
Maybe the upcoming homestand, that unfortunately includes the Cardinals, can right the ship.

Abysmal. Unheard of. Is the offense really that inept? From what we have seen so far this season I would answer that with a resounding yes.

Phils will be 6.5 games out of first place in Mid April by the time the torture stops.
Should we start speculating how soon it will be before Cholly is let go? If they are 10 games out of first by the end of April? Or should we say more like 6 or 7 games under .500?
