Philadelphia Phillies (36-41) vs. San Diego Padres (39-38)padres-logo

Kyle Kendrick (6-4, 3.56) vs. Jason Marquis (9-2, 3.59)

TIME: 10:10 ET, Petco Park
TV: Comcast SportsNet
Weather: 70, mostly sunny
Media: Facebook and Twitter

Can the Phillies find a new way to lose tonight? After a gem from Cliff Lee through the first eight, they once again blew it in the ninth last night in the opener with the Padres.

They’ll have to hope tonight is different, but if it’s not, you’ve been warned. Kyle Kendrick aims for his seventh win, against Jason Marquis. Somehow (perhaps it has something to do with the huge Petco Park) but Marquis is 9-2 with a 3.59 ERA. Looks like another low scoring game on the horizon.

But again, you’re used to it.

Lineup: Rollins SS, Utley 2B, M Young 3B, Howard 1B, Brown LF, Mayberry RF, Revere CF, Ruiz C, Kendrick P

The same old light beers are tired. Sam Adams Light promises to be different, and is. It’s one of the tastiest light beers available. ┬áIt features a crisp and smooth roasted malt finish without any lingering bitterness, leaving you yearning for that next sip. If you’re trying to watch your girlish figure, it does contain 119 calories per beer, which is slightly more than a normal light beer. The 20 calories are likely worth it. – PG
