The last game at Veterans StadiumThere many men and women who have bravely served our country (and some serving today). We’d like to think the finest of these warriors were bred here in the Delaware Valley and raised Phillies fans. But no matter who you are or where you’re from, the commitment by armed forces personnel to keep the rest of us safe is something to be commended. We here at Phillies Nation want to thank all veterans as well as those currently serving and wish everyone a joyous Veterans Day.

For those Phillies fans serving abroad, we often like to send Phillies-themed carepackages to help their tour seem a little more like home. Each carepackage costs $40 to assemble and ship, and they are entirely funded by generous donations from other Phillies fans. Please considering making a contribution to help us send more carepackages to those serving us.

Here are some photos of the carepackages in action as well as a few Phillies fans in service.
