A Note for Tonight:

On Monday night, the Phillies ripped a defeat from the jaws of victory. The Phillies bullpen once again imploded as BJ Rosenberg, pitching in his third straight game, gave up back, to back, to back homeruns. The Phillies were able to come back and take the lead, but it was quickly squandered as Jake Diekman surrendered a grand slam to Braves second baseman Dan Uggla. The Phillies bullpen has now given up seven homeruns which is more homeruns than the entire Tigers & Padres pitching staffs.

Luckily for the Phillies Cliff Lee has really good numbers against the Braves. In 15 career games he has posted a 2.80 ERA. His 113 K’s & 7 BB is the best K/BB ratio in MLB history by a starting pitcher against 1 team with a minimum of 15 starts.

Lineup: Revere CF / Rollins SS / Utley 2B / Howard 1B / Byrd RF / Brown LF / Ruiz C / Galvis 3B / Lee P
