Yankee StadiumWe here at Phillies Nation have teamed up with Host Committee to offer a group experience to remember at Yankee Stadium for the Phillies vs. Yankees game on Tuesday, June 23. The seats are all together, are located in Section 408 and cost just $20.

Click here to purchase your $20 tickets in the Phillies Nation group.

For those folks not already in the NYC-area, there is also a way that local fans can make the trip to Yankee Stadium for this game. Rally Bus provides safe and easy transportation for sports fans, and they are running a bus for this game. You can bring food and drinks on the bus, not have to worry about parking, designated drivers or any other transportation hassles. It is a $50 roundtrip bus spot that leaves from 30th Street Station.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Phillies Nation readers and invade Yankee Stadium with Phillies fans! We can even grow this into a regular group event at nearby ballparks for away games, or at home if there’s interest.

Don’t miss out - sign up for the Phillies Nation group outing at Yankee Stadium today!

Phillies Nation Spring Training Trip to Clearwater

Posted by Brian Michael, Mon, November 25, 2013 04:20 PM Comments: 0

It’s never too early to start planning your Phillies Spring Training trip to Clearwater and we have all the details ready to make it easy for you.

This is easily the most fun you’ll have on a road trip. In a single weekend you have – Phillies Spring Training, St. Patrick’s Day, Opening Rounds of March Madness, and Spring Break! All this within the famously sunny surroundings of Clearwater, Florida. If you are a serious Phillies fan, you need to at least consider coming on this trip we put together with the help of Major League Vacations.

As usual, we’re headed down for the St. Paddy’s Day game. The trip starts on Saturday, March 15, with a non-stop flight from Philly to Tampa. (If you want to book your own flight, use frequent flyer miles, or drive, we have that option, too.) We’ll be staying at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort – one of the best hotels on the Gulf.  It’s classy, it has beautiful white sand beaches, an awesome pool and tiki bar and is walking distance to all the Clearwater Beach restaurants and bars. We also have a less expensive option to stay at the Fairfield Inn right by the stadium.

We’ll have air conditioned shuttles to two Phillies home games – versus Pittsburgh on Sunday and Baltimore on Monday. Before Monday’s game we’ll have our seventh annual St. Patrick’s Day tailgate party. There will be food, drinks, games and Phillies Nation gift bags for all participants. Plus, we’ll be filming a special episode of Phillies Nation TV on location, so get ready for your closeup!

Start contacting people now and tell them about the packages below. Spring Training trips make great holiday gifts (for example, you can go halfsies with mom and take your dad as a present). The trips are family-friendly fun for all ages and you’re guaranteed to make make people jealous with your hot wintertime tan. We can even put together a custom package for your group and help plan side-trips in Florida to places like Disney World or other Spring Training stadiums.

Email us at trips@philliesnation.com or call Angelique at (215) 923-2462 to learn more or book your trip. Please call sooner rather than later since prices are based on availability.

2013 Phillies Nation road trips

The 2013 baseball season is upon us and now is the time to make plans to follow your Phillies on the road with us. For the third straight year, we are partnering with our friends at Phils Fever to bring you some amazing trips in great locations around the country.

Memorial Day at Fenway Park, Boston
Saturday, May 25 to Tuesday, May 28

For the opening leg of a very strange baseball “home and home,” we find ourselves heading to Boston for a two day series on Monday the 27th and Tuesday the 28th of this year. The Boston Park Plaza is once again playing host to us and has given us the ability to do 2 or 3 night trips over any days you would like to travel. Thus, we are not going to include any transportation costs in this trip. You will tailgate and party at the Cask ‘n Flagon, a staple watering hole on Brookline Ave. and a mere 50 feet to the corner right field entrance into Fenway. Our tickets for the Monday, Memorial Day game will be in the outfield bleachers. If you’ve never seen baseball at the historic Fenway Park, now is the time.

Read more about the 2 and 3 night packages starting at just $265, not including transportation to Boston >>

Bus trip to Citi Field, New York City
Saturday, July 20

Our New York trip features charter bus service to and from Citi Field with tickets in the outfield bleachers for the 1:10 pm Phillies-Mets game on July 20. As you know, the area around the ballpark is not very conducive to tailgating, so we’re partying at McFadden’s in Citi Field with all the carved top round, roast pork, buffalo wings, pasta salad, cole slaw, green salad, soft pretzels, soda and domestic beers you can handle. If you haven’t been up to the new field yet, now is the time to see the Phils stomp on the Mets.

Tickets for the Citi Field bus trip are $145, get them here >>

Chicago: Phillies at Wrigley and Temple Football at Notre Dame
Friday, August 30 to Monday, September 2

It doesn’t get much better than this! Under the package we have set up, you will go to TWO sacred grounds this weekend. We start with a great Friday night bar crawl on State and Division Streets with our good friends at McFadden’s, Finn McCool’s, and end at Shenanigan’s. There will be no cover and great drink specials for all!

Upon waking Saturday morning, you will take a charter bus to South Bend, Indiana, where you will watch the Temple Owls take on BCS runner-up, Notre Dame Fighting Irish! This is the first time these two schools have ever met on the gridiron. We will have a full tailgate there and you will enjoy that which many people have never seen, a Philadelphia football team playing in South Bend!

Sunday we will head to Wrigleyville for a private bar at Murphy’s Bleachers where your beer and well drinks will be covered for two-hours. With 1 hour to go before the first pitch, we will head to 1032 Loveland for famous rooftop seats (not looking directly into the sun) where all of your food, beer, wine, and tips are included until 30 minutes after the Phillies-Cubs game!

See you on the road!

Photos from DC Trip

Despite the Phillies loss yesterday, the Phillies Nation party in DC was a monumental success. A huge thanks to our friends Quimby, Marylin and the crew of Phils Fever for orchestrating the event – 13 buses and over 800 people made the trip. Here are a few photos from the pregame tailgate. (It’s always fun to get a new Phillies tattoo photo!)

News Mentions from Opening Day in DC

Posted by Brian Michael, Wed, April 14, 2010 03:55 PM Comments: 0

As you may have heard, the crush of Phillies fans that traveled to Washington, DC for Opening Day made some headlines – including our bus trip specifically. The Philly media really tried to capture the excitement surrounding the start of a season with high expectations; the tone was much different coming out of DC. The Washington Post as well as Nats bloggers vilified the Nationals organization for allowing the takeover to occur. This only stoked the flames of outrage sparked by Nationals fans who were quick to blame the organization and Phillies fans; but of course, did not consider their own apathy and naivety.

Here are a few of the stories:
