Phillies Bars Around the Globe

Sometimes you might find yourself in the unfortunate situation of not being in the Philadelphia area during Phillies game. The information below will help you track down your local Phillies bar wherever you might be. The bars range from hardcore Philly joints complete with authentic cheesesteaks to the local watering hole that is frequented by Phillies fans. If you have suggestions for a place we should include on the list, please send us an email or leave a comment below.

Caroline, that is really the only Phillies bar….Town Tavern carries Eagles games (and I am sure they will show the Phil’s game) but they are not really a Phillies bar…. I was actually thinking of going to Phebes to watch the game tonight…

For all those in Boston, the same group that organizes the Eagles meetup on Sundays is getting everybody to go to Champions in the Copley Marriott. Let’s get as much red and white there as possible.

@Ted: Sounds great – keep the details coming if you find out more. I’d love to have a bunch of us there!

A bunch of us are thinking of going to Blondies – W 79th btw Amsterdam and B’way…Wogie’s is just going to be too packed.
    Go Phils!!!

Hey everyone! 1 more win is right!!! Can’t believe this! I am trying to get a group together in Northern VA to watch them (hopefully) close it out!

There is a place in Arlington, VA called Crystal City Sports Pub. I went there last Wed for Game 1 and there was a nice contigent of about 20 Phillie fans. They had the surround on for us and TONS of great tv’s. We took over the entire left side of the 3rd floor bar. Who’s in!?!?! It is PERFECT! Let’s triple the amount and do it again!

Here is the website and address:

    Crystal City Sports Pub
    529 23rd St South
    Arlington, VA 22202

Let’s get it done tonight!!! Come out all you Northern VA Phillie Nationers!!!

    Who’s in?!

Anyone in Clarendon/Ballston area of DC going out to watch the game???

Hey Stev, that Crystal City Sports pub I just listed in the post above yours is about 5-10 mins from Clarendon.

Anyone in the South Florida area? I know there’s the Parrot lounge, but that’s about 45 minutes south of my place… Looking for somewhere in the West Palm Beach area… Just moved back from Atlanta…
If you’re in Atlanta, Rocky Mountain Pizza is a great place to watch the game!

Anyone know of a bar in Alpharetta Georgia with Phillies Fans

I’m in Clarendon and looking for a good Phillies crowd as well.

All you clarendon, arlington, DC people (MJ, Chris, etc). Let’s head to Crystal City Sports pub – it’s perfect. Good Philly crowd there for game one also.

Anyone tried Mackey’s in Crystal City (Arlington, VA)? It’s on the same block as Crystal City Sports Pub, but we have been there a number of times and wanted to try something new in that area.

Chicago-based Phillies fans, Are people going to Mad River to watch the game tonight?
There will be at least four of us (one Phillies and three White Sox [cubs suck]) going to cheer on the Phils.

Haven’t tried Mackey’s in Crystal City JFK. I was just impressed with the turnout of Phillie fans at Crystal City Sports pub so thought I would go back. I will be with a couple Phillie fans at least too.

    Tony et al from Portland….
For Eagles games, check out the Eagles Nest Portland…it’s actually O’briens in Tigard..so a bit of a drive. But tons of good folks down there.
As far as Phillies go—I’ll be watching 25 years of frustration end tonight in the comfort of my own home. Nothing special, but a small group of people. But if any of you PDX folks are interested in getting together for the game, post a message here with your email and I’ll get in touch with you.

Any Phillies fan watching tonight inToledo area?

If you want to drive about 20-25 minutes go to Rocky Mountain Pizza in downtown Atlanta.
The Ale House in Alpharetta gets a nice crowd, cheap food and good service… but no Philly fans…

looking for a bar in midtown nyc where they play the sound of game and not music? Not looking to deviate too far from midtown. any ideas are much appreciated.

Anyone watching the game in Columbus, OH at a bar. I am watching at my place, but would like to hang with other Philly fans. I almost left for Philly this morning, but am settling for parade day on Wednesday or Thursday.

Shane— Been going to the Parrot b/c I live in Pompano and it’s been awesome, but I want to watch tonight’s game with the rest of my fam in WPB….
We’re going to Brian Boru’s in Lake Worth- it’s just west of Jog Rd. Owner is from Philly. Heard it’s an Eagles locale but hoping there’s a lot of red & white there tonight!!!

I’ll be at ventnor tonight, look forward to seeing everyone there. I won’t be getting there until the first pitch, so hopefully there will be a seat or two at the bar.

Defnitely went to Ventnor tonight and had an INCREDIBLE time! Can’t wait until tomorrow night so that we can finish this thing up! :-D

Half Moon in Phoenix? What a joke! I’ve been to much better sports bars. Went to this one for (the first part of) game 5 tonight based on finding it here. And it wasn’t too far out of my way after dropping someone off at airport. NO Phillies fans other than me, not much interest in game at all. Mostly MNF and just people from hotel next door there for dinner. They were out of draft beer – don’t ask me how that happens at a sports bar. Also out of the first bottled beer I ordered. Arrgghhh! Tomorrow night is either Padre Murphy’s or Fox & Hound (Arrowhead). Fox & Hound usually has a decent gathering of Eagles fans.

hey, looks like the game probably won’t be played tonight either. I’m from the Philadelphia area and will be in Chicago for business tomorrow.. Is Mad River the place to go? I can’t be alone if we win this. haha.

I’ll be in Columbia, SC on Thursday for work. On the off chance this game gets pushed back again, anybody know of a good place in Columbia to watch the game?

I’ll be in Portland, ME for the rest of game 5, anyone have any good Philly bars to watch the game at? Thanks.

I just moved to Chicago a month ago and Mad River is absolutely the place to go. Every postseason game, expect to see 50-100+ Phillies fans packed in the place. Good food, good beers, televisions everywhere including a giant screen. Casey, the woman who runs a Chicago PHI Eagles Meetup Group, is always there– really nice, welcoming and fanatical. An awesome home away from home!

Tony, I just moved to Portland a few months ago, too. The only suitable sports bar I’ve seen in downtown is City Sport (not to be confused with where I sold shoes in Philly for 2 weeks). It’s on SW 3rd I think. Also, Calamity Jaes in Gateway is alright. Otherwise, it blows for Phils games out here.

If you’re in Atlanta, Rocky Mountain Pizza is the spot. See you there tommorow night

Wondering where people are watching the game tonight in New York. Besides Wogies (cause I can’t get there early enough), it looks like Phebes has been luring some phillies fans. I need to be surrounded by a sea of red for this…

Went to Ventnor in DC on Monday… they ran out of Lager before the pre-game show even started. I knew that would be a bad omen (I must have a Lager in hand during every game).

I’ll be staying home tonight with my case of Lager.

Blondie’s on the UWS in New York is always good for sports — someone else on this board mentioned they will be there. Could be a great alternative to Wogie’s…

I was in NYC over the weekend and there was a bar that claimed to be “the official phillies bar” and “the only place to watch the world series” in the city. It was around 3rd ave and Bleecker in Greenwich Village. sorry, I forget the name.

In NYC, Town tavern on West 3rd and 6th avenue is packed with Phillies fans. It gets crowded but it is pretty big inside and has 2 floors. On Monday night it had a really good crowd so I wouldn’t expect any different tonight.

We are trying to get a crowd together in Manassas/Gainesville VA AREA tonight for the game. The spot is looking like either American Tap room in gainesville or more likely GLORY DAYS on Rt 29 in Gainesville. If any Phillies fans are interested in joining, email me talltom53@gmail.com. We have beend driving up to Philly for the games but I cannot do it tonight so we need more Phillies fans to watch the game with!!

Anyone in the Baltimore area? GReen Turtle in Columbia is a great place. HUGE and LOTS of TVs including a GIANT Screen HDTV in the middle.

email me hsoj1006@aol.com if you wanna join up

Where are phillies fans in boston meeting tonight?

Town Tavern is not a bad option. Maybe I will check out Wogies and then head down to Town Tavern once I can’t get in. Hope to see others there!

  • Posts: 0 Tom Bigoski talltom53@gmail.com

Update…location for tonight is Philadelphia Tavern in Manassas, VA. I called them and they said there have been great Phillies crowds. Anyone interested, talltom53@Gmail.com

    go Phillies!

Rick- Boston fans are meeting at Champions downtown. I live in NYC but have a ton of friends in Boston, and that’s where they are headed.

Anyone in Las Vegas going out tonight? I was in Phila for game 4 and 5.5 innings of game 5 and watched with friends at, coincidentally, the Las Vegas Lounge on Chestnut St and had a blast. Have people been going to either of the Eagles bars (Jersey’s and Madison Ave) for Phils’ games?

Where are the DC fans meeting tonight? My husband and I took amtrak up to Philly on Monday for the pilgrimage but we are going to stay local tonight. It looks like Ventor’s will be closest for us.

For those in NYC, I went to Firefly on Spring St. on Monday and they had the game on 6 projection screens and had the sound on…the place had about 60 Philly fans…will probably go back cause of the sound and the fact that they had Yuengling on tap!

Anyone know of any Upstate NY Philly Bars? Phillies in the Newburgh-Poughkeepsie area. Tried going donw to NYC for game 5 but travelling that far is brutal especially if you want to indulge in a few Yuenglings.

    NYC folks-
Phebes is closed for a private party. Wogies is going to be tough– I’ve been there for two games and heard that people showed up at 3pm on Monday to get seats at the bar. I just got a reservation for a table at Town Tavern. Firefly sounds cool too.
