Any organized Phillies or Eagles gathering in Athens, GA?

I would open up a Phillies bar if I had the funds.

Also live in Arlington, but watching at a friend’s tonight. Maybe trying out Ventor’s on Friday. I’ve been to Porter’s during the regular season and they always had the games on (some network I had never heard of before that didnt show commercials) but I might have been the only fan there. They used to have at least one Phils pennant hanging in the bar but last time I was there it was gone.

Guys, help a girl out in Sacramento, CA. Can’t make the drive to the Kezar in SF (though I can vouch for it – totally rocks). I want to watch them beat the Dodgers tomorrow!!

Any Phillies fans in DC/Northern Virginia congregating anywhere for Game 4? I’m looking at Summer’s as a place to catch this game if anyone else is planning to…

I’m thinking of hitting up Ventnor’s in DC for NLCS Game 5. Anyone else gonna be there? How has the Phillies turnout been at Ventnor this year?

Not sure why Carpool in Arlington, VA (Ballston) wouldn’t be on this list of places. Great sports bar with great TV’s. There isn’t a HUGE contingent of Phillies fans (is picking up mementum) but the one’s that do go are legit (Wednesday will be good). I’m specfically trying to make it a Phillies bar. I’m gonna try and get a world series phillies banner and hang it next the the Penn State banner (big Penn State bar).

Does anyone know of any Phillies bars in the Dallas, TX, area? I’m here in Dallas on extended business from Pennsylvania. Austin Avenue in Plano (935 W Parker Rd # 410, Plano, TX 75023) may be a logical place because it shows the Eagles games, and attracts Eagles fans.

Any ideas? Please contact me at phillycat1@gmail.com

    Go Phillies!

Anybody know a Phils bar in Seattle, or are a Phils fan in North Seattle area and want to watch the series out here. I’m a Philly transplant and love the postseason so far, but am tired of being the only Phils fan in every bar I go to.

Where are Phillies fans living in NYC watching the WS? Other than Wogies…

I’ll be in Tampa at least for Games 1 and 2… have to head over there from South FL on Wednesday so I won’t be able to make it to the amazing Parrot Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale like i’d hoped. (Anyone who’s in S. FL, GO THERE)
Let me know if you find a place. I heard the Fox & the Hound is an Eagles joint, as well as the Tampadelphia Eagles Club bar, the DoubleTree Players Lounge. I just want to find some phellow phans to share the Phillies glory!!

Also, I’ll be in Jax for Game 3 (go Gators!) so if anyone is aware of a Philadelphia bar there, let me know!!

I just found out I’ll be in Indianapolis IN for the last few games of the series and I’d love to hang at a bar with Phillies fans. Anybody have any suggestions ?

Steph in NYC… Wogies is awesome (was there last WS for a few games) but fills up fast. Shorty’s in West Midtown is also fun but not a huge venue. Town Tavern in the West Village (an Eagles bar) is another decent option. Or we could just decide to go somewhere else. I would imagine the Red Sox bars (Hairy Monk, Riviera Cafe) won’t have Yankees fans :)

Anyone in Hampton Roads going to AJ Gators (or anywhere in the area for that matter) tomorrow?

I have a Phillies/Eagles site for Pittsburgh that I never update because I am lazy.

If you are in PITTSBURGH AND LOOKING TO WATCH ANYTHING PHILADELPHIA, you have to go to Cupkas II on the Southside! They are one of only a handful of places in the city that cater to us. Eagles games get sound, same with Phillies and we get HD.

CUPKAS II on the Southside. On opening weekend of the NFL there was over 100 Eagles fans there.

NYC people (Steph, Elizabeth, any others): I usually end up at the bar across the street from wogie’s called greenwich treehouse. all phillies fans, gets crowded but not so packed you can’t move, and you can order cheesesteaks from wogie’s and they’ll bring them across the street. i’m meeting a couple other philly people there who i’ve become friends with during this playoff run. all good people.

I think I’m going to check out Town Tavern tonight in NYC. Anyone go last night? Was it a good crowd? I’ve never been before so hopefully it works out. If not maybe I’ll head over to Greenwich Treehouse. Obviously most places in NYC are going to be pro Yankees so I just want to make sure to pick the right spot.

For Seattle, we try to meet at
    Buckley’s in Belltown
    2331 2nd Ave
    Seattle, WA 98121
    (206) 588-8879

However there are only like four or five of us that met up for the World Series last year.

But yeah, I’m thinking of going to Ventnor tonight for game 3. Was planning on going to the Rhino, but now I’m not so sure…

Oh, I’m stuck in DC this weekend but I live in Seattle. If that wasn’t confusing enough.

Everyone in DC area should go to Ventnor and lets show DC what philly fans are all about!!! LETS GO PHILLIES!!!

I’m going out to Baileys in Crystal City. Adams Morgan is going to be a real pain in the ass tonight. I hate halloween!

I watched some of tonight’s game at Coolidge Corner Clubhouse in Boston. It was a great place, but it’s hardly a Philly bar. There were a few fans cheering for the phils tonight, but that was mostly because BoSox fans hate the Yanks. Any ideas for where I can watch game 6, if there is one?

you guys have to add the hurrican pub and lounge to the list of philly bars in florida. they are a strictly philadelphia teams bar. its great for me because its closer than the parrot which is also great

Where is the DC crowd heading tonight? Would like to cheer on the Phillies with some fans for game 6.

  • Posts: 0 John from VA

    Jeremy –

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m not quite up for heading all the way to Adams Morgan tonight, as I barely made it back to Virginia (only because of Metro incompetence). If there’s a place in downtown DC that has any reputation as a Phillies bar, then I will head there. Summer’s in Court House may be a viable option too. I will check back here in a few hours to see what the general idea is.

Trying to get a little meet-up of Phillies fans in Portland, OR at Blitz Ladds.
2239 SE 11th Ave. (Corner of SE 11th and SE Sherman)
Huge space, tons of TVs, good viewing from what I understand. See ya there!

Any Phillies bars in Virginia Beach or has anyone been to AJ Gators in Norfolk? The one at the beach didn’t have many people last time I was there.

I’m in DC, HUGE Phillies fan…never have anyone to watch with, is Ventnor the deal…I was going to head back to Montco area but only have 1 Philly fan out that way, what are we talking here/how many Philly fans really show up to be at Ventnor’s tonight? Dang it, didn’t bring any gear with me to wear, lol…

I’ll do DC anywhere but Ventnor sounds like the place to be for Philly fans. Otherwise, hanging in boring Montco, MD – can’t get over to VA tonight for the Phils…who is going to hang in DC?

Is anyone going to Capitol Lounge (DC) tonight?

I’m in Arlington and am looking for somewhere to go tonight. Champions Billiards in Arlington (Shirlington) has great HD and the owner is a stinking Yanks fan. I’ll be there watching, so if anyone wants to come down, please do. Relatively cheap drinks (for DC at least), and free parking. Email dmciotti@comcast.net if interested.

BTW, there will be a few Phils fans at Champions tonight (myself included). I am open to going somewhere else if a group is congregating somewhere else though.

Ventnor was great for game 4. At the start of the game the entire place was packed with Phillies Phans. Besides one or two Yankees D-bags that showed up it was a great evening of Yuenglings. Sad that the Phillies lost.

Well back in Seattle for game 6… let’s keep the dream alive!
