.. but isnt he looking for RF replacement though? Dom Brown is more of the issue. At this point it looks like we will have a double platoon at the OF corners with Ruf having to sit out the least.

I am all for Howard sitting vs Lefties. He hit like .187 against them last yr and usually around .225 vs them. He is ineffective vs lefties.

How come you dont show hits? or slugging against? Valdez looks good. Phils pen is too wild. Need more control there. Low walks, low hits and low amt of homers. That is key.

More like 67.2% of the time (using career OBA of .328 for JROLL). You have to use OBA not BA there. Rollins does walk once in a while… not as much I would like though!

Choo’s a pretty good player who can produce right now and is proven. Has a lot of tools. Revere has no power. Choo does. Revere shouldnt command anything close to what Choo would. Choo is more valuable. That being said, they gave up a lot to get Choo.

Juan Pierre’s OBA lifetime is around .350. This Revere kid’s is .319 lifetime. he never walks. So we have to rely on him hitting .300 to get on base. He has to learn how to draw a walk. 29 walks last yr. That ain’t gonna cut it. Very lite hitter. Get on base!

Does it matter that we never heard of Wilton Lopez or does it matter that his numbers were outstanding. No one hears of middle inning relievers. I just hope we made the right move here and his elbow is bad. Do I care if a player has a big name?? Nope. I care about results.

I do like Upton’s speed and power, but dont we need good baseball players that know how to work the pitcher and hit for avg. That is what the Giants did. They had one player that hit more than 13 homers and they won a World Series. We need baseball players, not just athletic guys.
