Dom Brown is really confused right now. I don’t think it has to do with work ethic, but he definitely is not focusing. Whoever was the batting Instructor has turned him up-side down. You have to hate Jason Werth for doing the opposite of Cliff Lee, and love him for inking that ridiculous contract. Werth is being paid nearly 3X the amount he’s worth. I see that happening with Dom Brown when Raul leaves. Lefty for Lefty bat in the OF, if he is a work in progress. However, he might have a better chance of playing a full-year with another team to determine his value.

I’m not impressed with Brown at all. They’ve attempted to work with that long swing, only for him to break something. If the Phils were contemplating sending Dom Brown North with them, or to AAA, the decision was made for them. Now begs the question: Was it the new batting stance the culprit or just dumb luck?
