Victorino On 15-Day DL; Snelling Called Up

UPDATE (2:27 a.m.): Victorino has been placed on the 15-day DL. The Phillies purchased the contract of Chris Snelling, who will be on the 25-man roster and should be available today.

Shane Victorino suffered a right calf strain during tonight’s game against the Chicago Cubs. He was replaced by Geoff Jenkins, who came into right field, moving Jayson Werth to center field. We’ll have more on this breaking news as it comes.
