Chase Utley is still leading all National Leaguers in All-Star voting, and his lead is growing. He now has 847,628 votes, which is second overall to David Ortiz and is more than 500,000 above Mark DeRosa, who is in second place in second base voting.
Put it in perspective: Utley has twice as many votes as Hanley Ramirez, who leads NL shortstops.
Other Phillies made little ground in their respective ballots. Ryan Howard did jump over Prince Fielder for fourth place in first baseman voting. Jimmy Rollins is still in fifth among shortstops, trailing Ramirez, Miguel Tejada, Jose Reyes and Ryan Theriot. Pat Burrell remains in sixth place among outfielders, behind Alfonso Soriano, Kosuke Fukudome, Ken Griffey Jr., Matt Holliday and Carlos Beltran.
All five outfielders above Burrell are having poorer seasons than the Machine. Everyone, vote. Now.
Your NL starting lineup remains the same as last week:
Geovanny Soto / Lance Berkman / Chase Utley / Chipper Jones / Hanley Ramirez / Alfonso Soriano / Kosuke Fukudome / Ken Griffey Jr.
