No. 1 Prospect Carrasco Promoted To AAA Lehigh Valley

A Minor League promotion usually means a ripple effect throughout the system, and the lucky benefactor of that effect in AA Reading is No. 1 prospect Carlos Carrasco, who was promoted to AAA Lehigh Valley today.

Carrasco, a 21-year-old right-hander, went 7-7 with a 4.32 ERA with the Reading Phillies this season. He spent a full year with Reading.
