Odds And Ends: Happ, Gordon

A quick odds-and-ends post on this Saturday.

Tom Gordon is facing a second opinion on his elbow, and very well might need Tommy John surgery. That would obviously end his season, and possibly, his career.
JA Happ was sent down following the Scott Eyre trade and roster addition.

I’ll have much more about Gordon later, but as for Happ, I say “thank God.” Happ needs to throw every couple days as a starter. Get him ready for Opening Day 2009 or the first sign of starter injury.
