Phillies and Fans Sweep Washington

Well, there’s nothing like a series against the worst team in baseball to get a club back on solid footing; after a sweep of the Nats, the Phils have reclaimed first place by a full game.  All though the opponent was subpar, the games this week were all quite enjoyable.  This is mostly due to the fact that Phillies fans turned Washington, DC into Greater South Philly as they came out in droves to fill Nationals Park.  Without exaggeration, between one-third and one-half of the fans were rooting for the Phils.  It was great to see the Nation make its presence felt.
