Coste Will DH Tonight

According to ESPN, Chris Coste will be the designated hitter in tonight’s World Series opener. Carlos Ruiz will go behind the plate.

By American League rule, if a DH is removed from that position to take the field, the DH position is thus removed from the game. Either a pitcher, or pinch hitter, must take that spot in the lineup.
