Former Phillie ace Curt Schilling has announced his retirement. He went 101-78 with a 3.35 ERA and more than 1,500 strikeouts in a Phillies uniform. He was also the winning pitcher in game five of the 1993 World Series, in which he tossed a shutout against the Toronto Blue Jays.
