Park Shines But Phillies Fall To Jays

Most impressive in the Phillies 4-3 loss to the Blue Jays was Chan Ho Park, who threw four innings, giving up a run on three hits while striking out four. Immersed in the Fight For Fifth, Park certainly made a mark.

Meanwhile, bullpen candidate Gary Majewski continued to impress with a perfect two innings, striking out two. The Jays scored off Yorman Bazardo and Sergio Escalona, who got the loss.

Geoff Jenkins hit a two-RBI double, while Greg Dobbs and Pablo Ozuna both collected two hits in the loss. Fan favorite John Mayberry Jr. finished 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

The Phillies will face the Tigers at 1:05 p.m. today. Jamie Moyer, JA Happ and Scott Eyre are scheduled to pitch.
