Reading Report

Here is another report on the Reading Phillies from David Hoppman.

The Reading Phillies won on Sunday by a score of 3-2. Kevin Mahar supplied most of the offense with a two run homer. Vance Worley got his second win of the season, and Michael Schwimer got the save. Matt German also pitched two solid innings of relief. Sergio Escalona is still trying to find that consistency that got him several call ups last season. He shows flashes of it, but right now German is ahead of him as a possible lefty out of the pen for me.
