CHASE UTLEY WATCH!: Uh oh! Chase Utley had a cortisone shot in his ailing knee, sending a fan base and franchise into a dark unknown. So far, the knee has not healed with rest and treatment. A cortisone shot was the next step to get the inflammation to subside, which to this point, has not. It might be time to start worrying a little bit more, especially if this doesn’t not help to heal the knee. GM Ruben Amaro told the media today that it could be worse than the team initial thought, but that the doctors are saying it’s tendinitis right now.

Keep your fingers crossed.

As for today, Roy Halladay goes up against Paul Maholm. Enjoy listening to the sweet sounds of baseball on this beautiful Saturday.
