After another offensive explosion, brought to you by Carlos Ruiz and his pinch-hit grand slam, the Phillies will look to take another series from a divisional rival. A win today will give them three to begin the season.

All eyes are on Cole Hamels today as he looks to bounce back from a horrific first start against the New York Mets. Really, it can’t get much worse than it did on Tuesday in Philly. He went only 2 2/3 innings, giving up six runs.

Who will be the catalyst on offense today? Michael Martinez gets the start at second base today in place of Wilson Valdez. Might he be the one?

Lineup: Victorino CF, Polanco 3B, Rollins SS, Howard 1B, Francisco RF, Ibanez LF, Ruiz C, Martinez 2B, Hamels P

Your gameday beer: Woodchuck Cider Granny Smith

It’s effing hot today in Atlanta, so go for something that will cool you off a bit as you watch the Phils do work. Refreshing as hell (although it feels like we’re in hell right now, and thats not refreshing to anyone) Woodchuck is tasty, fairly priced, and won’t dry you out like Mike’s Hard Lemonade, which you will never see on here. Have some spaghetti and meatballs and a few of these bad boys – plus, get your AC running on high while the Phillies try to snag another from ATL. -By Pat
